TMF Stand at Malvern

A cold winters day was November 26th, but it didnt stop TMF from putting on a great stand at the Mighty Malvern Mini Show. Located at the foot of the scenic Malvern Hills, the show was held once more at the Three Counties Showground.

The Malvern show had been below par to some mini enthusiasts in previous years, This year it was run by a new organization, and had promised a better trade area and more club stands. Securing a large stand earlier in the year the TMF stand compromised of;

Rodders - with his Paul Smith Limited Edition Mini
Minis84 - with his Vauxhall engined purple Mini Clubman
Roo - with her purple Mini Equinox.
RacingGreen - with his soon to be Miglia with fancy boot lid Mini.
Miniman-pie - with my Red/Black Rat look, Rallye Mini.

And two Non-TMF members.

Roger Churchfield - with his 1976 works replica, complete with mud.

And

Pete Hill - with his Island Blue and mud covered works inspired mini.

The TMF stand was complete with gazebo (The only club stand to have one, except the British Mini Owners Club), flyers about TMF in general and BH2N2007 and a DVD of many TMF members minis and the Brands Hatch 2 Nurburgring runs 05 and 06.

Jeff from MiniMag came and had a nice chat to us all, and mentioned he was very impressed with the stand as well as the arrangement and appearance of ALL the TMF minis.

Many passers by, young and old were impressed with the cars we provided, and numerous members of the public, and TMF members, mentioned that the ‘76 works replica should have won “Car of the show”. However a 2000 Cooper won the award.

Other awards went to “Birmingham Mini Owners Club” for the “Stand of the show”.
Car of its era went to Minimegz with her brown mini.
Best paintwork went to Minis84
Best interior, well 2nd prize went to Rodders and 1st went to Minimegz.
And Best Engine Bay went to Minis84.

All in all it was a great show for TMF. The stand got a great response, and it was a great way to promote TMF.
