The Mini Forum are very excited to announce another link up with another big name in the mini world - Bill Richards Racing. Starting from today we will now be supplying you with all of his race reports as he competes in the BARC and SEMSEC championships around the South East. I personally been a big fan of Bills since I first meet him a few years ago after I took my mini to his garage to see what he could do with it. Sadly the mini was far past its best, but Bill has gone from strength to strength in every race he competes in and never ceases to upstage some far superior machines and always provides fantastic racing action to watch and read, which is the reason why I read every race report since my first encounter with him. For those of you who are maybe unfamiliar with who Bill Richards is, here is a quick run down. Bill Richards served his apprenticeship at the world famous BMC Special Tuning department at Abingdon, Oxfordshire. After this he set up Bill Richards Racing and has been at his current location in Ashford for roughly twenty years and now employs the help of Lee McNair. During this time he's become the premier person for those looking to build the awesome A-Series 8 port! He's also been involved in several special projects, such as the engine building for a fleet of Works rally minis that raced for in the 1994 Monte Carlo Rallye, including L33 EJB, driven by Paddy Hopkirk in recognition of his historic win in 1964!
